Double B Leeuwarden

Double B stands for Beer & Burgers and Back to Basic. This means a new company with a hint of nostalgia, its interior fitting the lovely radiance of this classical building in Leeuwarden’s centre. With a nod to the past we do not play modern music but instead focus on music from the sixties and seventies. Want to sit outside? We have a spacious terrace at the back of the building for enjoyment of the sun on sunny days.

Fellini Leeuwarden

In Fellini Leeuwarden you can find elements of inspiration, passion, and an Italian sense of family. Ingredients of the good life play the main role in our establishment, whether you come for lunch, dinner or just a drink. Fellini opened her doors on this beautiful location in 2012. Fellini Leeuwarden’s lovely terrace is directly next to the renewed Wilhelminaplein. On this 18 metres long terrace you can sit wherever you want: out in the sun or more shaded. The awning and heaters make this a great place to be, even in winter. You can enjoy the menu late into the night. Our menu is very diverse. For lunch, you can have various soups, richly filled sandwiches, paninis or salads. For dinner, there is a choice of soup, meat, fish, pasta or pizza. Come on over and experience it. We guarantee you a pleasant social outing, taste and elegance.

Humphrey’s Restaurant Leeuwarden

Humphrey’s Leeuwarden is located on the sunny side of Nieuwestad. This former antiques store was turned into one of the largest Humphrey’s locations in the Netherlands after a thorough renovation. This prestigious building still breathes the air of days gone by. We are able to separately seat small to very large companies due to the separation of the building into several rooms: the store, the upstairs room, the knights’ hall, the library, and the upper room. We have enough space for everybody with 300 available seats. You can also have dinner on our waterside terrace or the more shaded courtyard during the summer. Always with a friendly ambiance, every guest is offered a wide variety of choice with our three-course menu for a fixed price of € 25,95. In cooperation with the Leeuwarder Bioscopen (Leeuwarden’s Movie Theatres), we can offer you a complete night out for € 31,00.

Restaurant Jamuna

Restaurant Jamuna opened its doors in Leeuwarden in 1994. The restaurant has 60 seats. We also have separate rooms (in the front and back). At Restaurant Jamuna you can find the original Indian kitchen with several cultural characteristics of India’s different regions. These cultural characteristics combine diversity and the character of the Indian kitchen as a whole. You will be able to enjoy the true Indian ambiance with nice music, very friendly and helpful staff, as well as a large variety of drinks. The Indian kitchen is mostly known for its curries in the Western world. This often leads people to think of curry powder, making them assume that many Indian dishes are flavoured with and get their taste from this powder. The opposite is true. Curry powder as we know it is not used in the Indian kitchen. People in India often make their own herbal mixtures (garam massala) that differ according to dish and region. Recipes are often only passed on from mother to daughter. The art of mixing herbs and spices, the art the Indian kitchen is built on, is centuries old. Just as old as the strict regulations for preparing dishes based on climate, region, and the religion most practised in that region.

Trattoria Italiana

Our kitchen’s philosophy consists of high quality and a fresh supply of meat, fish, vegetables, and fruits. All wines, cheeses, pastas, etc. are imported directly from Italy. Our pizzas are covered with fresh mozzarella, and our Italian baguettes are baked in-house daily. Our menu offers a wide range of authentic dishes. Our wine menu is put together with great care and consists of good and affordable wines. We want people to enjoy the magic of the Italian kitchen when it comes to wines as well, showing them what the Italian vineyards are capable of producing and radiating Italian hospitality. We consider it a privilege to spoil our guests with culinary treats night after night and to see their laughing and contend faces. Most Dutch people immediately think of pizza and pasta when they hear the words ‘Italian restaurant’, but we would like to convince you that our kitchen has many other tasty specialties in store (dare to taste!).

Club Satay

Club Satay is an Indonesian eatery located in one of Leeuwarden’s narrowest streets. You’ll feel the Indonesian ambience surround you as soon as you come in. The walls are covered with Indonesian newspapers and there are Asian umbrella’s and wajang dolls. Club Satay does not have a menu card. The menu is written on the wall or on a chalkboard, exactly as it is in a warung, an Indonesian living room restaurant. Club Satay’s name is derived from the most famous Indonesian dish: sate. Club Satay offers five different types of sate, being: lamb, steak, chicken, veal, and tenderloin. The ambiance is relaxed and sociable and this is the perfect place for those who love the Asian kitchen to enjoy tasty spicy food.
