Leeuwarden Stadswandelingen

The Team Leeuwarden Stadswandelingen (“Team Leeuwarden City Walks”) guide will lead you through the oldest part of our royal residence. The guide will show you beautiful facades, special places, and will tell you all about their facts. We walk through the Netherlands’ most fun shopping street, past Marijke Meu’s mural, her living and working palace, we “climb” mounds, and stand on the city’s highest point, and walk through beautiful courtyards and past special trees. We will also see where Mata Hari used to live and Maurice Escher’s house of birth, among other things. There is too much to mention. It is also possible to combine a walk with a boating tour on a praam through the canals and girths.
